My Love Affair with Castor Oil

 Hello everyone,
I gave you all the scoop on my staple products. I wanted to talk about castor oil. My affair with castor oil begin in March. I had no idea castor was used to promote hair growth. When I first purchased  the small bottle. I was going to test it in a new product for Shea Maria. I saw how thick this oil  was and decided  to use it as a sealant. Omg, I love how this oil makes my hair shiny. I used the refined castor oil which the scent is not as harsh. I currently use the Home Health brand or Jamaican Black Castor oil. Castor oil  has made my hair grow when I used it on a constant basis.
What is castor oil?
Castor oil is a vegetable oil obtained from the castor bean (technically Castor seed as the Castor plant, Ricinus communis (Euphorbiaceae), is not a member of the bean family). Castor oil (CAS number 8001-79-4) is a colorless to very pale yellow liquid with mild or no odor or taste. Its boiling point is 313 °C (595 °F) and its density is 961 kg/m3.[1] It is a triglyceride in which approximately 90 percent of fatty acid chains are ricinoleic acid. Oleic and linoleic acids are the other significant components.
Castor oil is used not only for hair care but it is used for  laxative, dry skin, and labor induction just to name a few ways to use Castor oil. I am color treated and moisture retention is something I cannot lack.
Castor oil is not expensive, it can be found in Health Foods store locally or online shops for the Jamaican Black Castor Oil brand.

My Natural Hair Staples Products List

Hello everyone,
 Many naturals have their go to products or holy grail products. Okay, I understand staples but holy grail that is a little over the top for my liking. I have staples product ,which I  have used on consistent basis. I have decided to share my list with you guys.

Real Housewives of New Jersey!

Okay, I watch the RHO NJ on Bravo TV on Sundays! Is it me or I am imagining things. This cast really make drama out of nothing seriously. Let's start with Teresa, the more I watch this season of the show I am beginning to see how selfish and delusional she really is. Teresa does not know how to be accountable to for anything. The money issue last season, she was in denial about that. She was spending money and hello this season she has a new Mercedes Gl 450. Something is not adding up.but its not my business. Any who but to matter at hand. Why is she is placing the blame on Kathy for inviting her brother over for Christmas Eve when she and her brother were not even speaking during Thanksgiving. When Caroline ask her, her answer
Me and my brother never spent Christmas Eve apart! Teresa come off of it! Teresa is delusional seriously and doesn't realize how she will never admit to anything wrong. Last week episode with Juicy Joe called Melissa a witch and raccoon. Teresa reply: He was talking about Lyssa Melissa's sister. Teresa really! WTH!
See I have dealt with people like Teresa who feel the world is wrong but them.
Melissa, she is winning everyone over with her fake peacemaker ways! I was turned off with her on episode one with her bashing and trash talking her in-laws. Melissa is taking the whole family thing to the extreme. Just because you are family doesn't mean you have to hang out with each other. What Melissa fails to understand is that your family can hurt more than people on the street. When Teresa was having their money problems, Teresa friends Caroline and Jaqueline were there for them. Even Teresa husband has said it. So now that Melissa and Kathy is on the show they want to look like a happy family. Come off of it. Quit using the kids as an excuse. Lets not talk about Melissa's sisters. They are like two evil witches who want their airtime. Melissa has made it clear she wants to be like Teresa but the difference between her and Teresa is that Teresa has friends and social life. Melissa does not have that and it's clear as day. Her husband Joe is always on the spotlight too. The singing career hmmmm! Idk!  Melissa does not bring a whole lot to the table to be on the this show. I just see her as not really having a life besides being a wife, mother and inspired singer!
Kathy, hmmmm Idk peeps between her and her husband, I will skip her for now.
Jacqueline, I feel her seriously. Just slap the crap out of Ashley and let her know who is boss. The problem is Jacqueline has given Ashley too much room to act the fool. Plus they have not made Ashley feel like a family member until recently. Jacqueline kick her out of your house. Because if she respects her dad so much. Let her go and live with him and his wife. See how that turns out, since she wants to be there so bad and she has a broken family. Boo hoo, Ashley grow up, one minute you want to be an adult and the next a child.  Jacqueline send her packing period! You have other kids to raise. Come on no Christmas gift for Mom or Chris, who bought you a brand new Jeep! I will spell it out for you SELFISH !  Ashley has a alot of growing up to do. Ashley is stuck on stupid right now. She is going to have to leave home and struggle. Jacqueline and Chris need to stop entertaining Ashley's behavior and kick her ass out of  their home.

Wash n Gos are not for me!

Since my mini chop, I have decided to take better care of hair. Wash n gos were becoming an convenient option for the month of June until I start noticing  major split ends and the snap crackle pop! action going in my hair. I have no problem with shrinkage at all. The problem with wash n gos, I do not have the patience for the product to dry in my hair. I have tried a few gels like Fruit of the Earth and the Eco styler blue. Both gels paired with a nice leave in give results. I am learning  with my hair having a high porosity, I would have to sit underneath the dryer.I think at this point, I will hold off on the wash n gos until my hair get longer to try this style again. Many naturals love this style. I have to remember in June that I had 3 inches of hair chopped off because I was not properly caring for my hair. But who knows! lol
